Visit to Jurong Bird Park

It was on a Monday that we went to the Bird Park.So sad that it was raining at first but also stopped around 8:15.Our class went down to the canteen to get ready to get onto the excursion bus.Mrs Loh told us that there would be an event called "the Amazing Race" lol.She explained the rules and regulations that day and on friday i think....The funny thing is that we were not allowed to run! we were only allowed to WALK..argh!!

We boarded the bus at around a few minutes later and i settled down at the back seat.Soon we took out our MP4,Walkman phones,MP3...etc and listened to lots of songs and sang along.The journey took around 1hour i think and soon we reached Jurong Bird Park.We waited at the entrance for about a while and went in.First we went to the Pools Ampitheatre to listen to Mrs Loh telling us about the rules and regulations again!... then we had the Amazing "race" lol we started at 10a.m.so it would last an hour and we would be back by 11a.m. My team was called A1 it consists of me,mikhael,yu qiang,john,nicholas,syafiq and bryan.7 people and Mikhael keeps making fun of John saying that he is 2 people...lol.We were first given an envelope consisting of 6 clues and we were only allowed to open it after we have finished or completed the one before.

Mikhael was our leader...obviously..."beep!"there gopes the whistle and every1 scattered everywhere to open up their first clue.Our first clue was like damn difficult!!1 and we took about 5 minutes to just figure out where we were going.First we walked to the Parrot Paradise to find if the place was correct.Oh!it was wrong then we went to the..... erm not sure then we walked one whole round and then meet Qiao yu's group who were also trying to figure out where to go!!!Bad news we spent about like 30minutes to finally make the decision to go back to the starting point to seek for HELP! We had no choice...Haizzzz. The parent volunteer told us that the first clue was the waterfall avairy.! i thought we went there before!Then we quickly rushed there and when i say "rushed" it means run.When we reached to Waterfall avairy we opened the 2nd clue and found out that we were supposed to talk a picture with 2 tourist and 4 team members! we went around the whole place to find 2 tourists but could not find any so we split up one team went up by taking the lift and one team stayed down and REST.lol:P Upstairs we finally found 2 Russian tourists.

First i went up to them and asked if they could take a picture with us and they replied in a russian accent but in english saying that they do not speak english.Then John came up and said we want to "click! click!"...lol every1 laughed and finally those 2 Russians understood.Me,Mikhael,Yu Qiang and Nicholas we in the picture while john took the picture for us.The Russian couples were very tall and huge like santa clause..."ho ho ho"After that the male russian asked me "Ur home in Singapore?" then i said yes and he replied by saying "my home in Russia!" in a very funny tone/accent. lol we held back our laughter and went to the lift to laugh.!lol. Actually we already cheated by opening up all of the envelopes at the starting point...because we were too fed-up with the first clue or question!!Die!!After that we went to the Parrots Paradise to find the 4th clue.It was about parrots and stuffs. Then we went back to the starting point to watch the Birds and Buddies show.It was very fun and intresting as the Birds were very talented.

Then it was lunch!!!my very favourite part our own free time!We went to the Bongo Burgers to eat.I ate fish n chips while Nicholas,Yu Qiang and Willton ate Chicken nuggets and fries.The fries were lousy and soft which was tasteless!What Kind of Fries was that?Then we went back in and it was tiem to go off back to school soon.O ya! the Nicholas went to spent $2 on a Nemo! Lol
